About the Author

The authors maintain active networks of public safety executives and intelligence operatives within an interdisciplinary assemblage of federal, state, local, and military agencies. Charles is the author of PRINCIPLES OF SECURITY CONSULTING and MAXIMUM SECURITY...Defusing the Threat, his vast law enforcement experience includes service with the New York State Police and as a Special Agent in the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, Bureau of Criminal Investigation. His military achievements include Search & Rescue, Port Security, and Counter-Terrorism service in the US Coast Guard and also as a Chief of Security Police within the elite US Air Force Special Operations Command. Robert, a Marine Corps veteran, rose through the ranks of the New York City Police Department achieving the rank of Inspector (Colonel) where he served as the Borough Commander (Transit) in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan respectively. Bob went on to serve as the Chief of Police in Sea Gate, NY while serving concurrently as a Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
